Good morning, I have a 25 question quiz with randomized questions that were set up in a question bank. When the user retakes the quiz, they are not resetting. I have the results slide set to "Allow user to retry quiz."
Can someone please help me resolve this? I could not find an answer in the discussions and I need to publish on Monday.
View the Flash or Articulate Mobile Player version of your course instead.
Exit the course, relaunch it, then retry the quiz.
If that doesn't match what you're seeing, would you mind if we take a peek at your file to see what's happening? Also, what version of Storyline are you using?
When I attempt to retake the quiz the questions are present with Previous and Next buttons but no Submit button. Interesting, my quiz should not have Prev and Next buttons; only a Submit button. I've looked at the support materials and cannot figure out how to fix this. I marked Reset to initial state on the Slide Properties for each question in the question bank. The Result Slide Properties are set to Allow user to retry quiz.
I will attach my file for review using the link provided.

I'm having the same exact problem. I have 5 Q in a bank followed by 10 more slides. I can't retake any of the 15 total question. It's set to resume initial state for each question and I can't find any additional way to control it. I suppose I could have separate question scenes to accommodate the 3 attempts permitted, but that enlarges the project. It already has 15 scenes!
I took a look at Maribeth's case that she worked on with our team and they were able to reach a resolution by moving a trigger.

I'm so sorry you've come across this issue, Maribeth.
When you say the questions are not resetting, do you mean that the question sequence is the same as the prior attempt?
If so, we have an open issue with the HTML5 output of Storyline 2. You can work around this behavior in either of the following ways:
