The interface redirects the user to a question bank. It links directly to a single question draw, but it keeps pulling the same question. It is set to random, and all are set at chosen randomly.
My intention is for it to keep drawing a random question. Is this something that Storyline isn't able to do, or did I do something incorrectly?
When the game links to the question draw, is it always linking to the same slide where the question draw is? Or do you have multiple question draw slides?
We found an issue in the HTML5 output (and in Preview) where the same questions will be drawn when revisiting a question draw slide. Since you have a single question, that means only the same one would be drawn when the user goes back to that slide.
I'd love to have a look at your .story file to see if it matches those circumstances, or if we can identify what else is happening! You can use Add Attachment to share it here.
Thanks for your file, Robby. I tested it out, and it looks like the bug Crystal described is happening in your file. I can tell you spent a lot of time designing this game, and I'm sorry this issue is causing it to work incorrectly!
Until we have a fix, you can get around it by viewing the Flash output instead of the HTML5 output. You may also be able to use variables to draw different question slides each time the draw slide is revisited.
Thanks again for bringing this up, and I'm sorry it's causing you headaches!
Absolutely--here you go! I would recommend using Flash/HTML5. This publishes your course as Flash first with HTML5 fallback. Learners will see Flash output if they’re using a Flash-enabled browser. If they're using a mobile device or a browser that doesn't have Flash, they’ll see HTML5 output.
Great news for you, Robby! We just released another update for Articulate 360, and it includes a fix for the problem where question banks would display the same set of questions for a quiz after three attempts in HTML5 output.
Just launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for each application. Details here.
Please let me know if you have any questions, either here or by reaching out to our Support Engineers directly.

Hello, thank you. It does always link to the same slide where the draw is. I attached it. Please let me know what I can do to get this to work.

Thank you. Are there instructions on how I can change the scorm to only use the flash output?
