Help - things are cut off

Hi everyone,  

 

I've been having issues the last couple of days with SL3.  When I insert images or text box - a part of the object gets cutoff for no apparent reason.  Yesterday I closed my project and tried again and it seemed to work when I re-inserted my images - not so lucky today.   Either way,  I should not have to do this.  

 

I've attached a screenshot to demonstrate the issue.   Things to note - I have tried about three times to close the project and try again.   Also - the image on the right is sent to the back therefore that is not the issue.  Any suggestions?

Hi, Tom. Thanks for bringing this behavior up.

So sorry you're running into this, and I'd love to help investigate! I'm unable to recreate the cut-off issue in a test Storyline 3 (Update 6) file; screenshot attached.

We'll figure this out together! A few questions to help us determine our next steps:

  • What Storyline 3 update are you using? You can find this detail by clicking on the Help tab, then About Storyline.
  • Is this happening with one project? If so, what happens when you import it into a new Storyline file?
  • If this is occurring intermittently on several projects, a simple repair of Storyline 3 should do the trick. Could you give those steps a try and let us know how you go?

Hi Katie,

Thanks for your reply. I’m using the latest version of Storyline 3; update 6 3.6.18134.0

I have had it happen on a couple of projects now. When I preview the slide however, all is normal. The published version is also ok. Its just in my workspace that I am having the issue.

I’ll try a repair.
