Help with ADA compliant images

May 24, 2016

Hello!

I am creating a course on web programming course. My initial thought was to have screen shots of code snippets and use drag and drop interactions to have learners identify where different code tags should go, dropping them onto the website image. However, using a graphic of code is not ADA compliant.

I can insert code as text into a slide, however then I do not think I can use the drag and drop in the same way. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Thanks so much!

Hi, Lindsay -- Thanks for reaching out! While I am not an expert on ADA compliance and will need to defer to your fellow community members to share their ideas to assist, I did want to pass along a few general, accessibility-related resources that you may want to check out:

Hope that helps and others will be able to share some ideas to do the trick! :)
