Help with buttons/triggers

Jun 21, 2019

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to create some training with the idea being;

- User presented with a map

- User clicks on a section of the map to reveal part of a story (to give the impression that they are choosing what to look at)

- Regardless of which button the user clicks on they are brought to a pre-determined part of the story

Essentially, I want to give the idea that they have a choice of which slide to jump to. The plan would be for the section of the map they clicked on to grey out and they would then go back and choose another to reveal another part of the story.

Not sure if this is possible!

Any help would be appreciated!

Mark

Mark, that would be pretty simple, you would just use variables that are true false statements for each part of the story you want the user to go to. Then when a user clicks on an image, the piece of the map, they are taken to either part 1 if it is false or part 2 if part 1 is true and so on. The images depending on how you are doing it, would just change to a state of disabled once the user clicks on them. Make each a button if you will with a hover and a disabled state. Hope that helps.
