Help with fixing course

I have attached a sample course and am looking for some help with it.
It is a software simulation course. If you open up the file, the issue is under the "Reason" category. I want the learner to choose the reasons, as many times as needed, until they choose the correct one, which is Reason A.
The issue:
If they select the wrong reason more than twice (2x) then the screen does something weird and I am not able to figure out what it is that I am doing incorrectly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank,
Dana

If by "something weird", you mean that the Reason Why Selected layer shows a reason different than the one selected, it is because the Reason Why List layer adds to the RWS variable, when it should assign the choice number to it. Place %RWS% in a text box on the Reason Why List layer, and you'll see what I mean.
If that is not the weird "something" you are seeing, can you please describe it more specifically?
That is exactly the issue. I am going to try it. Thanks, Dana
Thanks Walt, it works perfectly. I changed the "add" to "assignment" in the "adjust variable" trigger.
