I have several translation files (DOC files which I had exported from my Storyline course). I tried to import these files back to the course in order to implement the translation in th course format - only to discover, dreadfully, that it didn't work! Instead of all the texts I get empty placeholders ("Click to add text").
Has anyone encountered this problem before? What can I do? I have translations into 10 different languages waiting!! :(
Ok got it! I exported the files to a three column DOC format, and for some reason (...) the translators erased the original text and put theirs instead - so it wasn't in the right column.

Hi Yair,
First you'll want to check that you're following the steps detailed here on how to export and import the translation file. Next, I'd suggest confirming you're working with a local .story file and local Word (.doc) files when editing them and conducting the export/import as working from a network or USB drive is known to cause unusual behavior.
Please let us know how the import is behaving after checking into those elements.

Thanks for enlighting me on that
