Help with Quiz Programming

I'm working on a graded quiz that has several different types of questions. The SME I'm working with would like users to have 2 attempts on just the fill-in-the-blank questions. They get one attempt on all other question types. The quiz has one cumulative score at the end. Is there a way to do this?

I appreciate any advice!

Can you customize how many attempts on a quiz questions?

Yes!

Here are the steps:

Open a quiz slide.
Choose the Question Tools Design tab.
In the Scoring section, you'll see Attempts.
- This is where you determine how many attempts a user has for the specific question slide.
