I have created several quizzes (9) using variables. I chose this route to give learners partial credit for items they answer correctly. The quizzes are a mix of drag and drops and multiple choice (pick one, pick many). I have used vairables to grade the scoring, and i have a "Results" slide, but I don't know how to send the results to my LMS.
Not sure if this will help, but by default, Storyline cannot send the value of a variable to an LMS. However, since Storyline communicates quiz responses to an LMS, you can use a trigger to automatically assign the value of a variable to a Short Answer survey question and send it to the LMS. Here’s how.
I haven't actually tried using this method, but have you checked to see if your variable shows up when you choose a number type variable in your trigger?

Peter,
This looks like it would be a great option for me, but I'm able to get the variable portion to work.
please take a look here.
Thanks,

Peter it does. So would you suggest that I use a number type instead of the Text Entry? I didn't know if it would report the same.
I don't know if it will either Will be curious to hear if it works though...
Give it a shot and let us know, then we can work from there.
