Hello Community, I imported slides from Storyline 2 to SL 3 and all text is not visible under the notes tab. Any suggestions? Copy attached for your review.
This is actually an issue we have reported with our team. I will add this thread to the list of users impacted so that we are aware and we will be sure to pop in here with an update when we can.
We have found that the issue seems to be related to the story size, so if that is something you have the power to change - it could help. For example, the default Story size of 720x540 (4:3 ratio) does not seem to have an issue.
Thank you for following up on this. I am well into my project, and I did change the Story size to your suggested ratio. Text is visible, BUT, all the content, graphics, etc. is displaced or unrecognizable. I am hoping we are able to update the issue soon. I would prefer not to recreate all this content.
What was the original size of your slides? If 720x540 is a lot smaller or bigger than your original size, I can suggest another size that fits the 4:3 aspect ratio that is a little closer to the original.
My slide size is 1366 x 768. We are required to use organization specific slide layouts, so changing the size may not be an option at this point. Is Articulate attempting to resolve the issue? If not, do you suggest reverting back to Storyline 2?
I completely understand about not being able to change your slide size. We are tackling this issue in Storyline 3, and I'll definitely let you know as soon as we get an update. You'll be notified immediately since you're now subscribed to this thread.
Thanks for checking in, Paulette! We're still working through this issue--it's definitely a priority for us! I've tagged this thread to be updated as soon as a fix is released, so you'll be notified immediately. 🙂

Hi Alyssa,
What is the status of the issue concerning slide size and text visibility under the notes tab? Thanks

Great news! We just released an update for Storyline 3, and included a few important fixes that you'll see in the release notes here.
The item you'll be interested in is how we fixed how the right edge of notes text could be cut off in HTML5 output.
Please let us know if you have any questions, either here or by reaching out to our Support Engineers directly.
Thank you Ashley and Articulate Engineers! It appears the issue with notes visibility is resolved with the fix!
