Hello, I'm new to Storyline and have imported a PPT with animations. How do I go about setting up a trigger which will prevent a user from advancing to the next slide before the timeline completes?
1. Create true/false variable called "SlideFinished" (default to "false")
2. Add a trigger that sets the variable to "true" when the main timeline finishes.
3. Add a condition on the next button trigger that says jump to next slide when "slidefinished" == true.
You'll also need to add a trigger to reset "SlideFinished" to false when the main timeline starts if you plan on using this variable on more than 1 slide (otherwise it will be "true" when the next slide starts and won't prevent the learner from clicking "next" too early).

Maybe this tutorial will help you get started with triggers: http://community.articulate.com/tutorials/products/adding-and-editing-triggers.aspx
Hello Elena,
The short answer is by setting a condition on the trigger for the "Next" button to jump to next slide when "Timeline ends."

Hi Elena,
In that situation I'll often:
Hope that helps!
Thanks Greg. Worked like a charm!
