Hidding next buttons on a slide until all triggers/layers visited

Oct 15, 2013

Hi. The Next/Previous buttons are built into my slide and I would like them only to appear when the user has visited each of the buttons revealing a layer of further information. I have tried a number of different techniques and just cannot make it work... any suggestions please?

Hi Kim,

Welcome to the community!

When you say the next/previous buttons are "built into my slide," do you mean you're using the ones that are built into the player, or that you've designed your own buttons?

The ones that are built into the player cannot be hidden, but can be disabled by adding triggers with conditions.

If you create your own, you can set the initial state to hidden, and have them revealed, again by adding triggers with conditions.

If you can provide more information, or even better upload your slide, I think it would be easier for the community to help you out.

Hi Becky and Leslie

Thanks for your responses, much appreciate the help.

Attached is a draft templates, which hopefully show you what i am hoping to acheive...

The Next/Previous buttons are on the slide itself (i.e. NOT the player). i would like users to visit each of the 5 buttons before the Next/Previous buttons show. I have tried a number of different variations so far, but think i have totally confused myself now.

Thanks in advance!

Kim
