I have a few callouts that appear on mouse hover over that I want to be hidden while a video is playing. Can't quite figure out how to do that. "When Media completes" is the opposite of what I want. I want "when media begins".
Thanks Sinchu... your input led to a simple solution, different from what you suggested. What I did was remove the video control and created a button that play the media when clicked. I then added more triggers that changed the state of the other button (which are connected to the layer I wanted disabled) to disabled. Works perfectly. I then added another trigger to the media that returns the state of the buttons (triggers) to normal when the media finishes.

HI Benjamin
Create two shapes and one variable
1. call the first shape when video start and give a trigger to adjust the variable when time starts.
2. now you can figure out your video is playing so put a condition for mouseover.
3.Call the second shape when video ends in the timeline and also add the trigger to change the variable to first value.
if you still didn't get then share the storyline file I can look into it.

Thanks for sharing the solution here with us Benjamin, and thanks Sinchu for getting him started!
