Just wondering if anyone can help me with hiding the reference and also with the variable buttons i am using. i need the forward button to stop at the last work instructions and then the back button to stop at the first work instructions.
The back and forward have a start and end value related to the screens. You know that when it gets to 4, you can hide the fwd button. And when it gets to 1 you can hide the back button.
Just add triggers to show or hide based on the value.
Hide back button when variable = X
Hide forward button when variable = X
Show back button when variable is less than X
Show forward button when variable is greater than X
Something like that. You can play around with ranges. You could also make the buttons disabled instead of hidden.
As far as reference, you only need that during production. I'd just hide it on the timeline when you're ready to publish.

Hi there, Sorry i am still struggling with it.. i am trying..
change state of > button > hidden when variable xxx on condition variable equals 4
however this removes the button and it will not appear when i use the back button
right....that's why you need to show it...change state to normal when variable is less than 4
A good thing to keep in mind when working with triggers is to talk through them. I always ask: "what do I want to do, when do I want to do it?"
That's how you determine the action and event. I want to show button when it's 4, I want to hide button when it's less than 4, etc
