Hide/Remove Side Menu in Storyline

Hello!
I want to completely hide the side menu in storyline.
In the past versions (I think from memory) , and in Captivate you can click an 'x' and get rid of the side navigation menu altogether.
I want my PC view to look like the tablet view, where the menu is gone and takes up no space.
I've unchecked 'menu' but all it does is leave the empty menu box, taking up space, but won't get rid of it - so it looks really ugly. I looked up past help - no useful help found :-(
Would really appreciate it if someone knows how to get rid of the menu for the PC sized view so it looks like the full sized tablet view.

Hi Jill,
If you had other items enabled as a part of the sidebar such as the resource or notes tab, that would also leave the space on the side. Similarly if you have even selected that on one slide, it'll leave space for it throughout the entire player set up.
As for making the desktop view look like the mobile version of our responsive player, our team is working on a unified player to allow you to have the same experience across both devices. We'll let you know here in the E-Learning Heroes community once that's ready!
