Does anyone know a shortcut for hiding multiple items in Storyline when you need to edit? In other programs, I have been able to right click and select hide all. I can't find this option in Storyline, and am wondering if there is an quicker way than having to hide each item on the timeline.
Brandi, just click the little eyeball icon directly beneath the word "Timeline". That will hide everything. Click it again to show everything. (This wasn't available in the initial release of Storyline but was later added as part of one of the updates.)
Another trick is to depress and hold your left mouse button down as you drag over the eyeball of a series of objects on the timeline.
Just to clarify, Brandi... When I said click the eyeball, I wasn't referring to the eyeball next to each object, I was referring to the eyeball at the very top, directly beneath the word "Timeline". Some mistake this for just a graphic header but it's clickable. Click that and you'll hide everything at once.
That's my normal approach. I was just curious as to whether or not there was an easier way for those slides that are heavily animated. Your trick will help! Thanks!

Thanks! I've got the eyeball clicking thing down, but didn't know about the trick! That will definitely help!
