Hiding/Revealing Next Button in Drag & Drop Questions
Jun 11, 2020
Good day everyone,
I am hoping someone can help me out. It is the first time I have created a drag and drop scenario and I am really new to Storyline. I have attached the slide I am working on, identifying info removed due to confidentiality.
What I am trying to achieve is:
- Hide the next button when timeline start
- Have the learner select their responses (only allows correct response)
- Learner click's Submit Button
- Clicking submit initiates two actions 1) Big check mark appears 2) Next Button appears
- Learner clicks Next Button to continue to next slide
I keep either having clicking submit lead to automatically going to the next slide without showing the check mark (a new layer), the submit button not working at all, or the learner being able to hit submit without out completing each line.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Katerina, what about something like the attached. It removes the Submit button and just disables/enables the Next button. I thought the submit button was a bit redundant as you can't get the question wrong anyway.
Thank you so much for this simple solution! It worked perfectly and solved my issue. It helped me realize, first I had to put in a trigger to change the states of the all the answer spots to "Drop Correct" which I wasn't aware off. It also for some reason never occurred to me to just add in the Next/Previous button triggers when they did not appear by default. Again, thank you so much for your time!
