hiding user choices with layers
Apr 16, 2013
Hi all,
I have hit another knowledge gap! I am creating interactivity on a slide, and the user clicks on one of the chevrons to lodge an answer. When they click, a black box appears which is sitting on another layer (picture below).
I want to be able to lock the chevrons, so that if a user changes there mind, and makes an alternative selection, the orignal choice is no longer displayed. However because I have 9 different layers (3 on each graph section) I can't use the hide other layers feature...
Would appreciate any ideas!!

I wonder if using object state's to indicate the choices might be an easier approach in this case. Nothing wrong with layers, but that seems a lot of "fiddling" to me. See attached and here is the published version. Hope that works for you.
