Highlighting a Button

Good morning Everyone. I am brand new to Articulate 2. I have just finished my Lynda.com class on the basics and am trying it out for the first time. So far so good but I have hit a snag. How do I get a shape highlighted when its clicked but have the highlight automatically go away when a different shape is clicked? I can get the highlight to work using triggers but I cannot get it to disappear without adding LOTS of additional triggers. In addition, I have a hotspot built in to bring in other information when the shape is clicked and that seems to be complicating things. Thank you for all your help in advance!

Hey Kate!
Sounds like what you want is to add a Selected state to all your shapes, and apply a glow effect to this state. Once you've done that, you can add them to a button set (select all your shapes > right click > Button set > then add to an existing button set/create a new one).
