Hot spots and Layers

Hi
I am new to Storyline and really enjoying it. I have a small issue I have come across. I have created a layer which appears when the user hovers their mouse over a hot spot. It works fine but if the mouse is not moved from the hot spot before the next item appears on the base layer, the caption box which contains the hot spot stays viaible on the screen. I don't want to extend the timeline too long as it will make the slide slow and painful

Could you add an additional trigger that would hide the layer based on when the new timeline element appears?
How about a new trigger with - Action Pause Timeline, This Slide, When user Mouses over X and make sure the box is checked to Restore On Mouse Leave.
That will delay the timeline only as long as is needed for the participant to do whatever is needed.
Always a good idea to share those ideas in the form of a feature request too!
