Hotspot 1 in the try mode, step by step.

Oct 17, 2018

Hi,

I capture software screens to make a step by step e-learning. the problem is that, somtimes I need to go to the next slide using a double-click and not a single one, which is the one used by default. I tried to find how to modify the Hotspot 1 behavior, but I can't find, it it seems to be hiden, and sure it stops the video, and restart it when it has been clicked. I put another hotspot 2, with a double click action, but the video doesn't restart ( I set restart timeline as action). I deleted the hotspot 1 and in that case the video doesn't start anymore the image is fixed on the first frame.

Does someone have a clue to make a double-click hotspot to restart the video captured in step by step mode ?

Thank you.

Again, I found the issue. The hotspot is hidden on all my slides. but if I select the hotspot and create a new trigger on it, It reappears magically. Then I have 2 actions on the hotspot, so I delete one and surprise ! the hotspot trigger is hidden again from the list, but works !

Too many problems in this software, I think. for a proffessional use, I spend more time debugging than create my e-learning. Each time I use a new function, each time I found issues that makes my life a nightmare.

Here after the video of the issue.

Hi Eric!

Thanks so much for including that screen recording. I'm trying to recreate the issue in my own file, but I still need your help. Can you tell me more about your project?

  • Did you insert Try Mode step-by-step slides?
