Hello. Is there a way to change the default color of a hotspot from green? I am trying to add hover hotspots to a slide with a lot of green, and it is proving to be very difficult. Thanks!
Hi there Rachel! Hotspots are actually invisible, but they show as green in Edit mode so you can see them. If you click "Preview this Slide", you'll notice you can't actually see the hotspots there, but the mouse pointer will change to a hand when the mouse hovers over the hotspots.
If you'd like to use something other than a Hotspot, you could also consider adding a shape with transparency. Just right-click the shape, then click Format. There you can adjust the shape's transparency.
I'm pretty sure there isn't in Edit mode. The only other option you can use (that I often use) is a transparent button. To do this, make the fill transparent (might have to be 99% for html5) and select no outline. Then you should probably get rid of all the states except for hover. If you do, make the hover state invisible the same way. This will preserve having the click icon change for the pointer when you hover over the button.
I understand that they are invisible. I am in edit mode and am trying to put hotspots on a screen. The problem is, the screen is green, so I can't see where the hotspots are to put them where I need them. I was wondering if there was a way to change them to red or something, so that in edit mode, I can see them on top of an image with a lot of green.
What I ended up doing was adding a transparent shape over the image and under the hotspots that was red and 25% transparent. This removed the green from the image enough to see where to put the hotspots.

Thanks for clarifying that, Rachel! Glad to hear you were able to use transparent shapes as a workaround!
