Hi - I'm a newbie for forgive me if this seems overly simple. I'm trying to create numerous hotspots on a graph - my assumption is a new trigger should automatically be generated in the triggers panel every time when using the hotspot tool and dragging the selected area. I've searched the forums but can't see any similar issue.
I feel like this is going to be an embarrassingly simple fix!
You do need to create the triggers for hotspots manually. (Insert > Trigger > show layer when learner clicks). I tend to avoid hotspots as you can't give them states and states are very useful to have.
..but knowing i have to do this manually (i assumed wrongly that it would automatically be placed in the triggers panel) has helped me progress - thanks Cary

thanks for responding.. i'd like the learner to roll over the various levels of the graph to get pop up information...rather than make it clickable

Just so you know hover states (roll-over) don't work on mobile devices or for people who are using keyboard commands.
