Hotspot Quiz - Scoring
May 23, 2016
Hi,
I am creating a hotspot quiz and would like to know if instead of the default percentage-based scoring system, there was a way of having a points-based scoring system instead?
I would like every incorrect click on a hotspot to subtract 5 points, and every correct click to add 10 points, with the results slide showing the total points.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hi Anthony!
You should be able to accomplish it with a Freeform Hotspot question type.
I've attached a rough example for you to take a peek at.
Thanks for the response. I'm still not able to see how you've set it up so the 5 points are extracted when the incorrect spot is clicked. Would you mind explaining how you've done that? Thanks
Absolutely!
I created a variable to Subtract 5 from the POINTS variable when the user hits 'Try Again' on the Try Again Layer.
Also - the 10 points are added on the Correct Layer :)
I hope that helps.
It did! Thanks!
No problem Anthony :)
