Hotspots for different steps in a process
Feb 02, 2015
I think I have a complex question. I have set up a slide with different hotspots on a picture. The different hotspots refer to different steps in process. The first time the user is seeing the slide, he has to click on the hotspot that refers to the first step. When the user clicks the right hotspot, he will see a lightbox slide. But when the user finished reading the lightbox slide, he will be navigated to the original slide automatically. When the user is seeing the original slide for the second time, I want him to click on the hotspot that refers to the second step, so that he will see the lightbox slide that refers to the second step, and so on. Is there a way to make this possible? I think it is also a possibility to duplicate the orginal slide, but when the user has finished the lightbox slide he will be navigated to the first original slide. Is there a way to navigate the user to the next slide after he had finished the lightbox slide, instead of going back to the original slide?

Is it possible to put the content of the lightbox slides on layer contained within the original slide instead? Might be a simpler solution.
Another way might be to use the resume saved state option when revisiting the slide so that the slide doesn't reset itself when you return to it after having viewed the lightbox slide.
Thanks for your help. I think I can use layers instead of lightbox slides, so that I can branch te user from the slide layer to the next slide.
Awesome! Glad that you were able to get some assistance here Annemijn and you've decided your course of action :)
