I have created a slider to move through the days of the week and display text and images. I would like to mouse over hotspots on that image to display other images on other layers. However, no matter what I do, the entire layer disappears when I mouse over the hotspot.
I love sliders and need for this to work. All your valuable input is appreciated in advance.
That's exactly what is happening. "Hide other layers" is not checked. It doesn't work with or without this parameter checked. Everything disappears once I roll over the hot spot.
Hi Robbin. Maybe take a look at the layers that contain the information to be displayed when someone mouses over a hotspot. In the layer properties for just those layers, uncheck the 'Hide other Slide Layers' option so that the slide layer that is currently displayed remains on screen when the hotspot layer becomes visible.
Thanks Stephanie. I figured it out from your suggestion. I unchecked the 'Hide other Slide Layers' on the hotspot layers and left the layer underneath that alone. It works! I also set it to pause timeline since I'm using sliders. Thanks so mcuh.

Are you saying that the original layer (slider) disappears when you mouse over the hotspot and reveal the new layer?
If so, is "Hide other layers" checked in the properties of the new layer your hotspot reveals?
