I am using Storyline 2 and I have a screen that is rather hard to see so I wanted to have certain hotspots zoom on hover. I haven't found an easy way to accomplish this because to my knowledge you can not zoom on a layer. I was going to have on hover show layer....Also is it possible to edit base objects on layers?
You can't trigger a zoom region, as it's based on when that element appears on the timeline.
You could use a hover trigger though over a hotspot to show a layer where it looks like the elements have been "zoomed" in - and this would involve you making a copy of the objects on the base layer and then changing their scale/size. There isn't an option to edit how elements on the base layer appear within another layer - only the option to hide them.
