Pop-up showing up in seperate layer.

In this layer I have group'ed: button+white jpg (as background) & some text.

Hi Damien:

I've attached a sample story for you to view.

What I did was:

1. Create the button on the layer on top of the background.

2. Copy the button and paste a second instance of it above the group, then move it to the same location as the original.

3. Go back to the original button in the group and delete all states except Normal.

Not working for me :( Maybe I explain in wrong way.
Please look at the file.
It's in polish but rule is a rule.

Under text with numbers you have layers.
When you open the layer Button OK changes to hover if "touch" white text background.

What I want: Button in Hover state only when mouse is over the button, not entire popup.

OK, one more think: there is no problem when all elements are not grouped. Then button changes only when user touch it. So... Is that my price if I want group elements?

Hi Damien, I'll edit and re-upload your story for you. I agree with you, that the grouping did cause the issue, so in my example, you see I made your button on the layer in a group first, then separated it from that group so it could be in a normal state until hovered.

Look at layer 1 to see how my solution is configured.

Notice the copy of the button from your group has the states, but the one in your group only has the Normal state.

Just ungroup the pop up layer and the button. You will have to add the flyin animations to the layer and button separately.

Thank you, I try this before but if I do that animation looks diferent. My emploee is not happy. Grouped - and fly.
What is strange I discover that this works in quiz slides with other button.  BUT ONLY IN QUIZ SLIDES.

Ok, only way to fix that is:

1. create button

2. create seperate text with name of the button (ex. OK).
3. group button with text
4. create rule: change button to hover when mouse is ever text
5. group this group with other element's you wan't and set animation.

Button changes to hoover only if mouse is over rhim...
Only solution I see.
