Hover "Hint" button message
Feb 26, 2016
Hi,
I have a set of 7 buttons( jumping to layers) +1 "next" button all visible in one slide that I want the user to click, one by one, and view all this content before allowing to click "next".
For this reason, I created a "hint" message that shows when the mouse is hovered in the "next" button telling that they must see all options first.
So far so good! The button only works when all 7 buttons have been visited.
What I cannot figure out, is how to stop showing the "hint" message when all the 7 buttons are viewed by the user.
Anyone knows this one?
Thanks!

It very much depends on your setup and triggers. Can you share your .story file here so that someone can have a closer look?
Thanks Michael.
Unfortunately I cannot share the module, however I can create a quick one with same setup to give you an idea.
Basically I only want the "hint" mouse-over message to appear if they have not visited the 7 buttons yet. If they have already visited the 7 buttons, then the "hint" message created with the states button should no longer appear.
Try this.
If you are creating the hint using the built-in hover state, there is no way you can keep it from performing its hardwired function. But the attached story will do it using a custom hover state.
Hey Walt,
This will work indeed - Thank a lot for taking time to help me out!
