Hover state bug on master slides

Oct 20, 2014

Hi there

I'm trying to create a master slide which has rectangles with hover states which change colour.

For some reason, when I hover over the rectangle, it changes the font size randomly to a very small size. It isn't set this way in the editor, - I can't find any reason for it.

Does anybody know a way around this bug?

Thanks

Luke

Hi Luke

Is this a clean project you have started with?  Is it a new font and has it been correctly installed into windows > font folder.  I have found font issues before if you don't do the font installation correctly — meaning, close SL, install the font in windows font folder, then open SL.

Just throwing stuff out there...anyway

I am getting the same error as you in your project.  But I have created a new project — slide master with layer that is triggered when timeline starts on slide.  The layer has a shape with INTRODUCTION in it with a normal and a hover state.  All I did was format the colours — the text (Articulate because I don't have Bliss Light installed) remains the correct size.

Hi

I think this may be right -

I just checked my colleagues computer who doesn't have the bug, and hers is set to 100%, 96dpi. On her computer it says this is 'default'.

On my computer, it's 125dpi, which it says is 'default'.  Different defaults!  I'm not sure why!

Ok I will make the change and hopefully it will remove this error.

Thanks very much!

Luke
