I'm trying to create a master slide which has rectangles with hover states which change colour.
For some reason, when I hover over the rectangle, it changes the font size randomly to a very small size. It isn't set this way in the editor, - I can't find any reason for it.
Is this SL1 or SL2. I just created a master slide in SL2 with two rectangles with text and hover states and I can't replicate your issue. Can you upload your file.
Is this a clean project you have started with? Is it a new font and has it been correctly installed into windows > font folder. I have found font issues before if you don't do the font installation correctly — meaning, close SL, install the font in windows font folder, then open SL.
Just throwing stuff out there...anyway
I am getting the same error as you in your project. But I have created a new project — slide master with layer that is triggered when timeline starts on slide. The layer has a shape with INTRODUCTION in it with a normal and a hover state. All I did was format the colours — the text (Articulate because I don't have Bliss Light installed) remains the correct size.

Hello Luke!
I was unable to recreate this issue as well in both Storyline 1 and 2.
Please make sure you are working locally as described here, You can also try importing this into a new Storyline file.
If you would like us to look further, please attach the file using the paperclip icon.
Hi there
To see the bug, click preview - then when you hover over the 'Introduction', if it's behaving like mine, it will shrink the text on the hover state.
The rectangle is on the master slide on a layer, which is triggered when the timeline of the master begins.
Thanks!
Luke

Hi there -
This is odd - on my computer, it's changing the font size on the hover state.
I'm getting this on the hover:
And this on the normal state:
Not sure what's going on..
Check your DPI Settings should be 96Dpi and that your not viewing in zoom mode
Hi
I think this may be right -
I just checked my colleagues computer who doesn't have the bug, and hers is set to 100%, 96dpi. On her computer it says this is 'default'.
On my computer, it's 125dpi, which it says is 'default'. Different defaults! I'm not sure why!
Ok I will make the change and hopefully it will remove this error.
Thanks very much!
Luke
Hello Luke!
Thanks for the update, hopefully making that change will solve the issue.
It worked - thanks again!
Great news Luke!
Have a good day
