How can I skip certain questions in a quiz if an incorrect answer is given

May 07, 2015

Hi

I am building a course in which there are 12 separate quiz sections.

My client needs users to justify certain answers if answered correctly. So if answered incorrectly it jumps to next question.

e.g. Yes/No? (correct answer No)

If 'No' selected - jump to next slide (justify answer multi choice)

If 'Yes' selected - jump to next question (skipping justify answer MCQ)

The user needs to score 100% to pass.

I feel like this should be quite simple, but it does not seem to work with the triggers/conditions that I have set up.

Please see the attachment. Skip to slide 1.8

Kind regards

Jon

This would have to be built as custom logic not using any of the standard MChoice/results tracking. It should be relatively easy to set up as custom triggers tracking which answer is selected on submit and jumping to relevant slide accordingly. At the same time pass a number value that works as a score. After finishing the Q's have a custom slide which tracks the total score submitted if it = QuizComplete variable then display success layer if not show incorrect layer.

Resetting the quiz would have to have each question set to automatically reset on return and variables resetting all scores.
