I created a virtual tour that could use some background noise. I know how to add sound to a single slide, but how can we add a song to an entire scene in Storyline?
Although possible using Presenter, this feature isn't currently available in SL but there are some great workarounds that other community members have posted here before. You may want to check these forum posts out:
Looping videos - this technique will work with audio files too but you need to ensure that there isn't a definate start or end to your sound file so that it ends and then re-starts seemlessly.
The ability to play audio throughout a SL project is a popular topic so you may want to submit a feature request for a future release - many have already, so the more the merrier

How do you play a single song as background music - Depending on how comfortable you are with editing code, you could also try this.
