Not sure how to do them all at once, but it seems you can right-click on them when you're at the SL startup screen and remove them from the list. Be careful not to remove them from the system!
And of course they're added to the list as you open them again.
There isn't a way to increase the number of projects visible on the Recent list at this time, but as Rebecca shared you can remove courses you no longer need to see on the start screen by right-clicking them and choosing Remove from List. That way, you can select the courses you need to see on the start screen.
I hope that helps! Also, if having this ability is something that would improve your experience using Articulate we'd love to hear more! Feel free to add your thoughts to this conversation or share them via the Feature Request form! 😊
You got it, it deletes the files. If you've already clicked this, you might be able to save the projects by going to the "Trash" part of your computer!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you can still save them!
A recent list is just that! A collection of the files you've recently worked on.
So all you'll have to do is open the file in Storyline, then the next time you revisit Storyline, you should see it pop up in the Recent list. Hope this clarifies it a bit for you!
Is there a way to turn off the "recent files" list altogether? I sometimes have to share my screen with clients and this creates a big confidentiality issue.
Right now, there isn't a built-in way to change the default recent files view in Storyline. You'll need to right-click on each file and select Remove from List or Delete from System, depending on the need.
You raise a good point about privacy, so I'll surface this as a feature idea to my team. The moment there's any news to share, we'll let you know!
PLEASE NOTE: if you choose "Delete From System" it will trash the file and you'll likely not be able to get it back. Just be cautious with that option. Speaking from experience. Let my careless mouse use save you from the pain! :D

Thanks Rebecca - that works a treat.
Hi Alfred! Glad that Becky was able to assist you here and thanks for the update
Hi Leslie.... is there any way to INCREASE the number of projects showing on the 'recent projects' list?
Hi there, David. Great question!

What does "Remove from system" do? Does it delete the files?? Yikes!

Scary! They are so close to each other, and I don't think there's a "Are you sure?" dialogue, is there? Again, YIKES! :O I'll be careful!
How do i get a file back onto the list?

Thank you Katie. I also submitted a feature request for this.
