I have a 12 slide interactive storyboard in Captivate. I worked so hard on it. Even though I am switching to Storyline, I do not want to lose this lesson. How do I go about do this? Thank you. Cindi
Is there a comparable process to import Captivate files into Storyline 360? The article you reference above only speaks to Storyline 1, and 360 does not appear to have an "Insert->Flash" option. Any help is much appreciated.
The directions for adding Flash files into Storyline 360 are laid out here. You're looking for the Insert tab on the ribbon, click the Video drop-down, and choose Flash Movie. Then browse to your SWF file and click Open.
I have a captivate 9 course that I would like to convert to Storyline if possible - I have not been able to import the SWF file. The helps above have not worked - is this still possible or is there another alternative. This is a long course that would take a very long time to rebuild.
Since Captivate and Storyline aren't compatible and use different file structures, there isn't a way to import one into the other. You can embed the content as a web object into Storyline, but that won't allow you to edit or change the way anything behaves within the embedded content in Storyline.
I did locate an older thread that provides some additional workflows that you might find helpful here.
