How Do I Import an HTML 5 Coded Simulation?
Jul 28, 2015
I am working on a project for a client who has a simulation they want to include in the course. Essentially, they are training people on how to use a piece of equipment. We have the simulation of the equipment built in both HTML 5 and in Flash - it has interactive, moveable dials that simulate the actual use of the equipment. I have tried to import the Flash version with some success, but the compression looks awful and makes the simulation unusable, as it is impossible to read the numbers on dials, etc. I am hoping that using the HTML 5 version will yield better results. I have been told it's possible but am unsure of how to do this. Can someone instruct me about how to import an HTML 5 simulation? Alternately, is there a way to use the Flash version that won't compress the video?

You could display the HTML5 simulation in a Storyline web object. Although I don't think Flash content would be affected by these, you could experiement with the quality settings, see here under Step 4.
Thank you - this is very helpful!
