I have created a timed project with 50 multiple choice questions and added a results slide. When I published it and didn't complete the quiz on time I got the layer that told me time was up, but when I click the OK button, it doesn't go away and I can't print the results page.
I have a follow-up question on this topic: If, after timing out on a quiz published with the "submit answers all at once" with the "email results" option, will Quizmaker perform a "submit" to send the results that have been entered up to that point?
I'm assuming there has been a fix for this since 3 years ago...but I'm running into the same issue when I preview the scene with the timed quiz (from a quiz bank) and run out of time before I've answered all the questions, it just freezes up in essence. Doesn't go to the results slide or allow me to answer any more questions. Is there a setting somewhere I should be looking at? I'm in SL1.
There were a number of fixes in Storyline 1 Update 6 that dealt with quiz timers. We're now on Update 8 which you can download here - do you know which update you're using?
If you're still having difficulty with a quiz and a timer we'll want to take a look at the .story file and see how it's behaving.
Thanks for the responses! I am on the current update, but it turns out I was getting weird behavior due to some extraneous quiz/results slides in other scenes (that were prototypes/drafts). Once I deleted them, everything worked as expected.

This is a known fault, it actually stops your project working at this point, hopefully a fix comes along soon
