How do I print results of a custom survey?

Sep 04, 2018

I have created a self-reflection tool based on our company's competency model that allows associates to chose the behaviors they most often display in each one.  Based on what they select, they get their results and some suggestions on how to move to skilled in that competency.

What I want to be able to do is at the end, allow them to print out any of the less skilled behaviors they chose so they have those suggestions to look back on.  How do I do this?

I made an attempt with a results slide at the end saying to print the variables if they were true but that didn't work.

Any thoughts?  I've never used the print function before so I'm drawing a blank!!

I'm adding only a portion of the course but I think it's enough that you'll be able to understand how I built it and what I'm trying to do.  I am using 360.

Thanks!

Hi Melissa!

When you use built-in survey slides, Storyline makes it easy to print the results of the survey using the Print Results feature.

However, it looks like you created your own survey slides instead of using the built-in tool. At this point, it sounds like it would be tough to go back and rebuild the survey slides using the built-in questions, but that would be a good idea for the next time you start a project.

I'll leave it to the community to share their ideas of how you can print the results of these custom slides!

I found some information about adding a print page in the media player but when I click on it goes to printer preview but doesn't show anything.  Any thoughts on how to fix this?  If I could get this function to work, I could make a results layer that is print friendly and use that as a work around :-)

Thanks for any input.....
