Even those look like graphics, they are individual characters, and in another font they may appear as letters. Temporarily change the font of the two symbols to a plain text font, then you can see which letters they are. Copy and paste them into find and replace. The letters should be replaced, while maintaining their selected font. If not, or if you are using two different fonts, you may have to change the font after you have replaced the letter
