I accidentally deleted the trigger that sets my variable to "the typed value" on a text entry field. I went into the trigger interface to create it again, but I don't see a way to "adjust variable" to "the typed value". How do I set up a trigger to do this? When I go through the new trigger wizard, "the typed value" is not an option I can select.
OK. Never mind. It's Monday. The trigger is still there--it just got moved to the bottom of the trigger list for that text entry. I see now that you cannot actually delete such a trigger (the Delete button (trash icon) is greyed out).
Thanks Wendy, our posts must've crossed. I didn't see yours until after I posted again. Yes, this is not a trigger you can create, but you don't need to because one always comes with the text entry field and that trigger cannot be deleted (only changed).

Hi Ray
you'll need to delete the TE object on the slide and add another one to get that trigger.

You're right Ray, I wasn't sure how you did it...but these things sometimes happen. All the best with your project :-)
