I've read a few discussions on this, but still wondering where exactly I need to go in SL2 to make the length of videos, slides, and the entire course show up so learners know how long they are. Appreciate the help.
You can show the length of a video by showing the video controls below the video. Keep in mind this option isn't available for website videos other than YouTube videos. More information on that can be found here.
There isn't a feature in Storyline that displays the length of a slide, but you can always add the seekbar below the slide to give the learner a visual indicator of the slide's timeline. You can read more about how to add the seekbar here.
To find the total duration of the entire course, click Home > Publish and then click the ellipsis button to the right of the Title field. This brings up a Project Info window, where there is a Duration field that shows the approximate length, based on how long your slide timelines are. Although there isn't a feature that automatically displays the duration, you can certainly add this information to your title slide.

Since the slide duration and entire course duration aren't automatic features in Storyline I encourage you to submit a feature request for those here!
