How do I turn off all default Drop Shadow settings in StoryLine?
I find that no matter what I create, whether a shape or a button or text in a shape or just about everything in StoryLine, a drop shadow is applied to it. I am well aware that I can use the glitchy format painter to apply a format that I create on one object to another. But I shouldn't have to constantly do that for basic text or anything. Drop shadows should be set-up to be applied on a case by case basis as a unique affect, not universal to every dang thing. Someone please tell me I can turn this anoying feature off.

Hi Brian
There is a simple way of doing this.
Draw the shape as you want it to appear, without shadow...
Then right click on the sahep and select set as default shape.
As of then all shapes will appear as the defauklt shape

Okay. Boy do I feel like an idiot. I never noticed that option before.
Follow up question: by doing that, does it control what Storyline does to shapes in inported PowerPoint slides?
