How do you add Breadcrumbs Navigation to the output
May 03, 2012
Hi,
I wanted to add breadcrumbs navigation to the top of a software simulation video. In the past using Articulate Studio I was able to do this by adding an image to the top of the powerpoint slide, and inserting transparent shapes with hyperlinks over the top. That way when you clicked on the breadcrumb shown in the image, it jumped straight to that section of the movie.
Does anyone know if this is possible to do in Storyline?
I tried adjusting the size of the story, and adding my image as the background.
However when i put hyperlink shapes over the background image, they are not working in the output.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hi Melanie,
First, make sure that you're previewing your entire content instead of just a single slide if you're testing branching. If you still have problems, can you post an example of what you're trying to accomplish?
Hi Brian,
I re-tried this today - adding rectangle shapes over the breadcrumbs image with the hyperlinks attached.
Today in the output everything worked
Not sure what I was doing differently before, but thanks for your help!
Cheers,
Melanie
