I've made all feedback masters/layouts blank so I can create custom feedback throughout - which we all know is great. But, "Invalid Answer" doesn't appear in this masters but still pop ups if the learner doesn't attempt the quiz 'properly'. E.g. I have a drag n drop > if the learner simply clicks on one of the objects without dragging it then this popup/layer appears.
Can't find anything in the quiz settings or anywhere else to negate this? Any ideas? Thanks
Maybe a piece of published code can be edited to counter this? Or some other way? If not, then the fact this appears (often looking out of place in terms of styling) kind of deflates the advantage of custom feedback.
Bumpety bump for the Articulate crew ... can anyone shed any light on this. I really need a fix on this, even behind-the-scenes coding if that's the only option ... thanks
Hi all! Right now that message is handled behind the scenes by Storyline and there isn't a way to alter it except if you want to change the colors or the text. If you want more flexibility in the way the message looks or behaves, though, you can create your own Invalid Answer layer like this:
I had seen this but we were after a quick fix such as just changing the layers like the others. This way would take too long I think to change all the interactions we have. Future interactions I will have to keep this in mind though.
I totally hear you & appreciate that feedback! If you haven't already, we'd love if you could submit a feature request to the dev team...they definitely notice when a particular feature is oft-requested, and this one would make a great enhancement!

Seem to remember from a beta question this is part of the code, and not changeable - but could be wrong.

Hmm, not good if that's the case.

I might be wrong!
Yours hopefully.

This is something that should be easy like changing the other layers but it's something that has been missed out..
Still looking for a solution
Thanks

Thanks Jeanette for the reply,
