I have got a lovely template from the download section, but the content (sub headings) are set/read only. I am not sure how to change these to add my own content? They are not locked, but when I go to edit the text I can't delete. Any ideas are welcome, as I'm sure it's something obvious!
I'm having the same problem. Only I can't seem to change it even in the editing states section and I don't know why. It's the 5th slide in this sample.
I've been trying to change the names from Tab 1 to something else for about an hour in "Edit States". I cannot right click nor edit the text but I can change the color. Am I missing something?
Are you trying to change it on the slide itself or on the slide master? The latter is where the tabs are set up for being able to edit items - and if you're still having difficulty with it, are you able to share a copy of the .story file here with us?
This thread is a bit dated and it seems that the users here were able to resolve the issues reported. Do you have a file you'd like us to take a look at?
I really like the ''Free Flip Card Interaction'' by Tom Kuhlmann. The problem here is that unfortunately I cannot delete the phrase ''insert the question here'' in order to use this awesome template! I am really sorry for the inconvenience that this may cause to you. Any ideas are welcome :)

Have you checked the slide master? Which template are you talking about and we can take a look?

HI ladies,
The templates I am referring to arethe media/tab interactions (the new ones in Storyline #2). I want to rename tab 1, tab 2 etc.
I'm sure it's something obvious so any insight would be great!

you need to highlight the tab > select the States tab, and edit the text in there
@Emily, Shawna was accessing the template from inside SL - it only just twigged with me when I couldn't find it in the downloads section of this site.

Hi, the "problem" I'm having with this template is I can't seem to be able to change the background colour of the slide, dah... :(
