I have a short (2 minutes) marketing piece that tells the story of who our training department is what we do. It contains less than 20 slides. I've not been able to figure out how to play a single song during the entire course. I plan to voiceover each slide and have music playing in the background. I did a quick search of the forum and find anything. I know Storyline can do it. How do I do this?
Hi! The audio, for all project works (on PC). I used the suggested code. Unfortunately, it does not work on iPad or iPhone. If I launch the file htlm5 from my PC there is the music; while, on the iPad there isn't. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Although we don't offer support for the background audio in Storyline, one of our staff was able to create a cool workaround shared here a bit more recently than this thread - and there are some specific changes for the output in HTML5 that you may want to take a look at.
It looks like you may have found the area to change in your code based on this discussion? If you still need more help, let folks in the community know and we'll keep you posted if the background audio is added as a feature to Storyline.

Glad this thread was able to assist you as well Atikah :)
Sorry to bump this up but this updated example is probably a better solution (no code hacks required).
Hope this helps,
Alex
No apologies necessary when bumping it gives another great solution.
Hello Alex. thank you for sharing the code!
I am not able to get the audio to work on iPad Safari, but does work in IE and Chrome as tested so far. Any advice? Thank you

I was able to edit the HTML to get the background music to play. My question is, now how do I get it published to Articulate Online?
Hi Ron! Great question. You can check out this article for assistance with publishing your course to Articulate Online or did you need to manually upload the content?
Either way, I think that's what you're looking for :)
Hello I get to add a single track background music, but autoplay is not working with Chrome, do someone found any solution? Thanks
