I really need step by step (easy instructions) as I don't understand anything related to the web! I have searched high and low for videos or instructions and cannot find anything to explain this process to me.
I signed up for Squarespace because it seemed to be the easiest way to put together a decent looking website without having to know complicated code. I talked to their customer service and they are saying to get any SL projects on the site I need to know code. They claim they are their own hosting, but I can't host these files? Uploading images, PDF, or video is no problem. This is highly frustrating.
I don't understand anything about code, FTP, SCORM, hosting, HTML5. Flash, ect. ect. ect.
Create a URL from the file (story.html). That's what you're linking to.
In Squarespace you create a link to that URL. Unfortunately, Squarespace doesn't let you upload content. What you can do is create a screenshot and insert the image. And then add a link on the image to your course.

If Squarespace will not hot the content then you could look at AWS Tom has a great post on how to do this.
Then how do I get the content to show up on my Squarespace website?
In the post Phil linked to there's a video. The 6:15 mark shows how to create a URL.
