How is the Storyline timeline supposed to work? Aug 13, 2020 By James Wagner Hi, New to storyline - I'm wondering how the timeline is supposed to work. In storyline, everything I place on the timeline is always visible regardless of where the playhead is. This makes it very difficult to set timings. Other timeline-oriented products don't work that way - you only see content when the playhead reaches it. Is this how the Storyline timeline is supposed to work? I'm running Storyline on a VMware Fusion VM on a Macintosh. It is a full-fledged Windows installation. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Many people think this does not meet the definition of "supposed to work".
