How Many Feature Requests Before Acting??

Jun 16, 2016

So I am curious since I know Articulate monitors this board:

What does it really take for the company to act on feature requests?

Are the forms "hot air", or are there examples of features actually being added as an update?

When I added SL2 to our company's authoring (along with Captivate 9), I had taken for granted that "Preview from this slide" would be a no-brainer.

It is not.

So, in order to preview more than one slide, you can only choose an entire scene, or a project - which may have many slides in it. Why?!

Not helpful in the least - and I know I have read others clamoring for the same fix.

Would be great to see where this is going - if anyplace - with your development team. Please?

Hi, Edward -- Thank you for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear of your frustrations. If you take a look at our Update release notes here, you can see that Bug fixes are differentiated from Features added, so hopefully that will shed a bit more light on what has been added recently.

And for more insights on our Feature Request Process, you may find it useful to take a look at this previous blog post on how requests are handled as outlined by Product Operations Manager, Gabe Anderson.

And unfortunately, we are not able to announce product roadmaps or release dates for new products/features or updates, but you welcome to subscribe to the Word of Mouth Blog for updates on Articulate products and also follow us on Facebook or Twitter
