How to add a quiz to a frame
Apr 28, 2015
Hello all...
I'm a brand new Storyline 2 user. I've been working exclusively with Lectora since 2004 and decided it was time to learn how to master SL2.
I've been through many of the initial tutorials in the last couple of days and while the learning curve isn't that deep, there have been a couple of things that have baffled me a bit. Here's one I'm hoping to get an answer for...
In Lectora, I'm able to add quiz questions right onto the content of a frame, and set the variables so that the learner can't advance until the quiz questions are answered correctly.
I'm unable to do this in Storyline at the moment, and I'm sure there's probably an easy way to accomplish this. Is there a tutorial out there on this?
Thanks in advance. Geoff

i have used separate slides to introduce the quiz questions and making the correct layer have the continue button. you can give them unlimited tries in doing this so there will never be an incorrect continue button.
Hi, Geoff - I agree with Terry's suggestion or you might want to try:
You could insert a new slide, click on the Quizzing tab on the right hand side, choose whichever format you like, hit Insert:
Then add the question text, and hit Slide View on the right hand side of the screen.
Then adjust the boxes to align on the left or the right...
so you have room to go up to Insert, and put either a video or some type of media onto the slide right next to it.
Thank you very very much Christie and Terry for the suggestions I'll try to
use them now.
