How to add articulate engage to my articulate story line project?

Jun 02, 2014

How to add articulate engage to my articulate story line project?  I am currently using Articulate Studio 13. Is there a way to insert some of my engage stuffs? I tried doing it but it says software is not compatible. How is that so?

Thanks. I really need help.

Hi Ashley,

If you'd like to include your Engage '13 object within your Storyline file, you  can do this via a web object:

1. Have all of your Engage output in one folder.

2. Rename your Engage.html (Studio 09) or Interaction.html (Studio 13) file to "Index.html"

3. In Storyline, click insert web object and click on the folder icon.

4. Direct Storyline to the Engage folder (just select the folder, no need to navigate inside).

5. Click Ok.

Now, when you publish, all of the Engage files will get pulled into your presentation.

As Nancy mentioned, you can't open Engage '13 files within Engage '09 and once we have information to share in regards to the import of Engage '13 files into Storyline we'll share that here.

Hi Melissa,

If you're using the normal  import Articulate Engage interactions into Articulate Storyline process, Engage must be installed and activated on your computer. Storyline 2 supports Engage '09 and Engage '13 interactions, whereas Storyline 1 only supports Engage '09.

If you're going to follow the steps above, you'd need the published output and then you can point Storyline to it without having Engage installed.
